About the network
Shaping the future of agriculture together
GROWvertical was launched as an international ZIM innovation network with Finland as its partner country and will be funded by the BMWE during its first phase, from 1 June 2025 to 30 November 2026.
The network brings together small and medium-sized enterprises, universities and research institutions to develop technological and systemic solutions for vertical farming and controlled environment agriculture.

Practical R&D projects, knowledge transfer and international networking
GROWvertical initiates practical research and development projects, promotes the transfer of knowledge between industry and academia, and supports its members in identifying and utilising suitable funding instruments. Through the close involvement of Finnish partners, the network creates international added value and sustainably strengthens the competitiveness of the participating organisations.
